We are welcoming applications from all project holders. Projects should register through the project submission form available on this page and via this link.

Projects will undergo the vetting process by our experienced team of advisors where only the best projects will participate in the competition.

Competition Event
The 2 selected finalists from each category will pitch in front of our qualified panel of investors and experts. The panel will listen to the pitches, conduct Q&A sessions and give feedback on each project.
The panel will leave to have a private discussion and to select the winner in each category. QPQ Advisory team will assist the Panellists and answer questions about the projects to help Panellists to make their decision.

The first day of our event consists of 4 workshops. One workshop for each category: Waste to Energy, Energy Storage & Battery Storage, Renewable Energy, Hydrogen. The workshops will be led by experienced Deal Advisors who will share their insights on how they assess projects and successfully close transactions. Following the workshops, the Deal Advisors will lead a private one-to-one discussion with participants on preparing their projects for an investor review providing valuable guidance and advice on how to make your project investor-ready and attract funding fast. During these workshops, advisors will share information on how they vet projects and discuss their criteria to determine if a project is promising or not. These are interactive sessions and participants will be able to ask questions and get customized input. You will receive an insider guide on how to obtain financing and secure the right investor/partner for your project.

Alex Fornal
Alex is passionate about serving the green transition to 100% renewable energy. He has over 20 years' experience in renewable energy project development, EPC project management, commissioning and financing of wind, solar and battery storage projects. He has a proven track record of over 200MW of wind farms and over 55MW of solar farms with strong insight and understanding of European and global PV, wind and energy storage markets and grasp of developmental principles throughout project life cycles.
Stephen Byng
Steve has more than 30 years experience in the design, development, engineering & commissioning of water, effluent & sewage treatment systems, renewable energy systems & ESCO projects. He studied Chemistry and has held senior positions in Thames Water, ABB Kent Industrial Measurements, Clearwater Systems, Delphi and Energy Management Systems.
Will Hogan
Will Hogan is a builder of community and collaboration in Impact, focused on capital formation for Impact businesses, projects and funds, and provides capital introductions services as a Managing Director at Umergence, LLC, a FINRA-regulated broker-dealer. Recent focus Impact themes include energy and the environment/ ClimateTech, sustainable food + agriculture, health and wellness.

Dr. Albert Fischer is passionate about promoting sustainability by funding and building young and innovative businesses. He has over 25 years of experience in venture capital and management in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Peter Hamilton
Pete founded the consulting firm Better Energies LLC in 2012 to evaluate and uncover high-value business opportunities for clients in the clean energy space by focusing at the intersection of technology, policy, and the marketplace. Prior to that he was Managing Director of the Center for Sustainable Energy. Pete has worked as a venture capitalist, engineer and consultant in over a dozen countries.
