Speaker: Marcel Steinberg
Marcel Steinberg is a pioneering figure in the South African Renewable Energy Sector. Starting out by making Biofuels, Marcel built EECO Fuels to Africa's largest Bio-Fuel's producer and branched out to waste to energy, supplying Woolworths, Bidvest, and Anglo American, and conducting Energy audits and Carbon reduction strategies for listed entities like Goldfields, MTN, and BHP Billiton. Marcel successfully excited EECO Fuels to a listed waste management company in 2007 and stayed on as a divisional Managing Director.

Today Marcel sits on the boards of:
- Urban4Site Energy- the energy division of Urban4site property group, where he is Executive Chairman;
- Ascent Energy, Private equity investor and advisory business looking at smart ways of funding and structuring Energy projects and portfolios to unlock value for stakeholders;
- Eternal Solar- one of Africa's most established Solar EPC companies, founded in 2011 and with over 400 successfully completed projects;
- Co-President and co-founder of Sphere Environmental Systems LLC in the USA. A leading supplier of CO2 refrigeration equipment into the USA market.

Speaker: Harry Istepanian
Harry a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.). He is specialized mainly in energy and water industry in consultancy environment with more than 35 years of experience in power engineering T&D, conventional power generation, renewable energy and water desalination projects. During the last 30 years, he spent primarily working on major projects in developing countries including SE Asia and MENA regions for international engineering firms including Fichtner, WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff, AECOM, Power Engineers and others.Harry holds BSc, MSc in Engineering and MEMgt from University of Auckland, New Zealand. His research interests are electricity reform in developing countries especially in post conflict states, energy economics and policies.Previously, Harry was IWPP Adviser for the Ministry of Electricity and Water in Kuwait and Iraq's former Minister of Electricity. He is a senior fellow of Iraq Energy Institute.
