  • Juan Pablo Maureira
    Managing Director of ENERGIQA

Juan Pablo (JP) Maureira is a senior energy expert and entrepreneur with 17+ years of international experience across Europe and Latin America in renewables, energy storage, and sustainability. He has led end-to-end development of complex solar and wind projects—including first-of-kind assets in Belgium and Ecuador—from concept and financing through EPC and long-term O&M. JP has also advised the Ecuadorian Minister of Energy and worked with the Netherlands’ Energy Research Center on power-system decarbonization and energy policy. He holds a Master’s in Industrial Management and a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and focuses on building cross-sector partnerships to accelerate the energy transition.
