During this Webinar, you will learn

Identifying a risk register is the easy half. What decides whether a project gets financed is what happens next — who carries each risk, what it costs to move it, and whether the package survives a lender's credit committee. Part One mapped the risks. Part Two builds the mitigation package around them.

  • How to convert a risk register into a structured mitigation package a lender will actually credit, rather than a list of concerns appended to the data room
  • Contractual mechanisms - how risk is allocated across the PPA, EPC, O&M and warranty package, which party should carry what, and where sponsors routinely accept terms they should have pushed back on
  • Financial structuring - reserve accounts, hedging, gearing, cash sweeps and sponsor support: how each converts a residual risk into something the debt can live with, and what each costs in returns
  • Technical measures - independent due diligence, P90 sizing, redundancy and performance protection: the evidence lenders weigh, and the level of rigour that changes their answer
  • Insurance and risk transfer - DSU, business interruption, political risk and emerging-technology performance insurance: what is genuinely transferable, what is not, and how pricing moves
