Jim Peet
Managing Partner at Fairfield Investments LLC &

Jim has over 30 years of international investing and fund experience. Including raising and running an 800 million venture fund for Lehman Brothers and spearheading numerous investments both domestically and internationally for an affiliate of the Soros Funds. Previously he worked for premier consulting firms, McKinsey & Company, and Bain & Company, on a wide range of projects.
He has a degree in engineering and math/economics from Dartmouth, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar. Jim is registered with FINRA (series 7,24, and 63). Green energy finance is a current major focus, with involvement in multiple current projects having a value totaling over $1 billion.
Specific technologies of interest are the many forms of waste to energy, and other clean power generation, but the range of potential projects is broad. Jim’s combination of finance, technical and consulting experience supports developers through the process with investors and helps give investors well-packaged projects that can be assessed efficiently
